Diana Bianco, Principal of Artemis Consulting, has more than 20 years of experience in health policy development, advocacy, communications, organizational growth, and project management. She is a resourceful problem-solver and a skilled communicator with particular strengths in strategy development, facilitation, negotiation, and writing. She helps groups identify their differences, find common ground and move forward. Diana asks good questions, keeps people on task and ensures that groups achieve results.
Before launching Artemis Consulting in 2005, Diana was the Executive Vice President of FACCT—the Foundation for Accountability, an organization advocating for an accountable and accessible health care system. Previously, she headed up the health care work at the West Coast Regional Office of Consumers Union (publisher of Consumer Reports magazine), where she focused on access to health care for vulnerable populations. Diana also has represented children and adults with disabilities in health care matters and other issues under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Diana has served elected officials; she was a policy and communications advisor to the Multnomah County Chair in Portland, Oregon and worked in the New York City Mayor’s Office. Diana is a cum laude graduate of New York University School of Law. She received her B.A. from Brown University. Diana also has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations in Portland, Oregon, where she lives. In 2015, Diana received a Women of Influence award from the Portland Business Journal. Diana finds peace and joy by hanging out with her teenagers, eating popcorn with her husband, doing yoga, hiking and biking in the great outdoors, and making big dinners for friends. |
